Portable CNC lathe for turning wheel pairs model PKC-2 is designed to restore the profile of the bandage locomotive wheel pairs without rolling out them from under the locomotive.
Turning is done both in manual mode and under the developed program. The control system provides continuous control of the trajectory of the tool movement, it is possible to process various wheel profiles without changing the lathe.
The rotation of the wheel pair is carried out from the individual drive of the locomotive wheel pair, or an external drive. When using an external wheel pair drive, it is possible to use the lathe for processing wheels of wagons.
The design of the lathe allows to use it in any place remote from stationary repair areas and the formation of wheel sets, such as car repair shops, car depots, carload workshops and the like.
